Tomb Guard

This unique sculpture was created in concrete when Caron was teaching at Cyprus College of Art, the design was inspiration by the local custom of placing terracotta figures in family graves to protect the deceased from evil spirits.

This sculpture was specifically created for the ground of the college, other sculptures can be commissioned but, the use of concrete is only suitable within a warm climate, stone or frostproof ceramics is much more appropriate to the Northern European winter.
